HYDRO DISTRIBUTION REMIXED

Vermeer Mix MasterTM  HD (Hydro Distribution) reamers are the ideal tooling for sandy loam, sticky clay and other reactive ground conditions. These mixing reamers can tackle both utility and pipeline applications with a range of cut diameters from 6-36 inches. 

Mixing-style reamers bore holes by mixing cuttings with drilling fluid and discharging the slurry out of the hole. Controlling the amount and placement of the drilling fluid affects slurry quality and the resulting production. The unique design of MXHD reamers takes fluid management to the next level by directing fluid where it is needed — to the cutting teeth.

Introducing Vermeer QuickLockTM – a two-part epoxy that cures in as little as one hour! This is a great alternative to the 24-hour cure times, allowing your work crew to replace the sub saver, go to lunch and then get back to drilling. Timely replacement of sub savers can help protect drill rod threads, therefore helping extend the life of your drill rod.

Vermeer QuickLock cures faster and lasts longer. QuickLock will allow for HDD operators to switch out their sub saver more efficiently and get back to work in as little as an hour. Don’t wait overnight, get back to work today! QuickLock also lasts longer than other options with a shelf life up to six years when compared to the industry standard of six months in other conventional thread locking compounds. 

Vermeer QuickLock Benefits: 

  • The convenient Hand-Pak keeps the resin and catalyst separate until ready to be mixed. Once ready, they can be quickly mixed within the pack before being directly applied to the threaded joint (no extra mixing components or tools required, just scissors to open the inner pack when ready to use). One pack will coat one 13-3/8 inch connection with minimal waste. 
  • As the compound itself is zinc-free with largely non-metallic fillers for low toxicity, potential reactive downhole due to acidified water is reduced. What’s more is this product has no shipping regulations.
